Peter Rubino

Peter Rubino achieved international acclaim for his 12-foot historic monument “Mother of All Life,” which graces the Boyko Research Center at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev in Beer-Sheva, Israel. Other monuments include “Angel,” a 35-foot figure created for Disney Corporation, and “Remembrance,” a national symbol and tribute to America’s fallen war heroes. Peter is the author of “The Portrait in Clay” and “Sculpting The Figure In Clay”. Peter presents workshops through out the US and Italy and  prestigious art institutions such as The Brooklyn Museum Art School and The National Academy Museum School of Fine Art in NYC and Silvermine School of Art, Ct. He exhibits extensively in the US, specializes in portrait sculpture, and has captured the likeness of such luminaries as President Obama, jazz icon Dave Brubeck, baseball legends Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig to name a few.
